Mergin Maps

Unlocking premium features of Mergin Maps for all

We’re changing subscriptions to give all users access to premium features.

After listening to the feedback we’ve had from many of our users, we’re making some adjustments to our subscription plans. The biggest change is that we are doing away with tiered access to premium features such as project history, email support, webmaps and API. Instead all subscriptions will be based on the number of contributors on the workspace. This way, you don’t need to pay for extra seats that you don’t need just to have access to premium features. You’ll also be able to invite an unlimited number of read-only users so you can share your projects with customers and partners.

Pricing

Under the new pricing scheme, each contributor seat subscription will start at €15.80/mo for teams of up to 20 contributors if paying annually. Contributors are any workspace members or guests who have Writer, Editor, Admin or Owner access rights, read-only users do not count towards your workspace contributors. Seats are allocated in ‘buckets’ so you won’t necessarily have to change your subscription each time you need to add or remove one or two users. Teams who need more than 20 contributors will be able to get custom plans that include bulk pricing discounts. See the table below for more information about the premium pricing plans:

No. of seats Pay monthly Pay yearly (19% discount)
1 €19.5 €190
2
€39.0 €379
4 €78.0 €758
6 €117.0 €1,137
9 €175.5 €1,706
12 €234.0 €2,274
15 €292.5 €2,843
20 €390.0 €3,791

Premium features

The biggest change is that all subscriptions will now have access to premium features. Under the old subscription plans, a workspace would need to purchase a Team subscription to get access to the full set of features available for Mergin Maps and Individual subscriptions were restricted from accessing project history, webmaps, API and email support. Now, individual users will have access to the same features that larger workspaces can access.

Storage

Workspace storage pricing is also being simplified. The amount of storage allocated to each workspace will start at 1GB for a single contributor and will increase by 1GB for each additional contributor. For example, if you purchase a bucket of 12 contributor seats for your premium plan, your Workspace will be allocated 12GB of storage for the whole team.

Enterprise

In addition to our new pricing plan, we are expanding the services available to our Enterprise customers. Our Enterprise plans are excellent for larger teams or those who need more dedicated support, customisation and integration with their wider business operations. The services available to Enterprise customers include:

  • On site hosting
  • Choice of data residency
  • Dedicated account manager
  • Advanced security features
  • Multi-year billing agreements
  • Migration assistance

Conclusion

We are excited to be able to offer more of the great features of Mergin Maps to all of our users. The new plans will be made available to new subscribers from 29 January 2025. However, if you have an existing subscription you can keep your current plan if you are happy with it or request a new plan at any time.
